TAA High End show - Taipei Grand Hotel

The TAA High End show was held in Taipei's Grand Hotel, a stunning venue. The Reference 330M was the centerpiece of a impressive system that also debuted Rockport's wonderful new Lynx speakers, and Innuos' Next-Gen music server.

Other components included Playback Designs Dream Transport and DAC feeding the Reference 6SE. Cables were by Siltech and the stands from Artesania Audio. Our dealer in Taipei did a great job setting up the system, and had a wide variety of music queued up in his playlist that ranged from Dead Can Dance to Mercedes Sosa to Bach to Eivør. We were engaged and never knew what was coming next.

Audio Research was also in a second room, featuring Innuos' Next-Gen ZENith music server and PhoenixNET, TotalDAC, our Reference 80S stereo amp, Siltech cables, and Audiovector's new Trapeze Reimagined speakers. This system was musical and so much fun to listen to.

The Taiwan show was packed with lots of enthusiastic attendees in their 20's and 30's who were listening to music and not staring at their phones. What a great change of pace!
